Hey all! We are not in Aviano, Italy. 8 hours later... Got a bit lost when we reached our exit and still arrived alive! I dont know how we did it with these crazy drivers. Oh My Gosh!!! I couldn't figure out if there was a speed limit on the highway because I didnt see many signs and all of the cars around us were going over 85 MPH.
We went through Austria to get to Italy and let me tell you Austria is one of the most beautiful countries Ihave ever seen. The mountains (Elps) were huge and about half way down some of the mountains there was huge open fields with the greenest grass you have ever seen. (you can see it one of the pictures)
Aviano Air Base, Italy, is great!!! The buildings look brand new and our hotel is comparable to a Sheradon. It is like an apartment.
Well we are off to bed to wake up early nd go to Venice for the day.
